Probably one of the greatest strategies of Satan against humans is the lust of the flesh, especially with men. Reading the Bible, we see King David falling into this trap, his son Solomon committing the same mistake, and even one of God’s judges, Samson, did too. The consequences were all the same: destruction. Today, let’s dive into how the devil uses pornography and immoral sex to destroy God’s chosen ones.

1 – Pornography
Colossians 3:5-6 (KJV):
“Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:”
The first step is to destroy every bit of purity in a young man. By doing so, the enemy knows he will have something to tempt him with for his whole life.
Everything started at high school. I still remember when my classmates were talking about women and pornography and I still hadn’t watched it. Then Satan planted curiosity into my mind, and when I was 12 years old, I found a channel on my TV that showed pornography after midnight. That was my first time masturbating. At first glance, I thought it was okay. Then suddenly I started doing it more frequently and eventually found myself in bondage.
I also felt that the Holy Spirit was very sad, but back in those times I was too young, and I barely knew anything about God. So, I couldn’t imagine how wrong it was or what consequences it could create. Well, there were many.
From experience, I observed that the more I grew watching pornography, the more my way of seeing women changed. I wasn’t thinking about women to marry, but about women to have sex with. I was never satisfied. The devil makes you get used to masturbating while watching different types of women, like blonde, brunette, etc. He does this because he wants to prepare the man to cheat. Through this strategy, he knows that even if the man gets married, he will still battle against these thoughts and desires, and maybe end up cheating on his wife.
Satan has a plan. His plan is to destroy us. He knew that through pornography he would make me a bad Christian. I couldn’t make a difference at school because of it. Remember the Bible says, “Your mouth speaks what your heart is full of.” Because of this bondage, I was always speaking immorally at school. That caused me to lose the opportunity to preach the Gospel effectively. I did preach, but when your actions don’t match your words, people just take it for granted.
The devil’s strategy through pornography is to make you do nothing as a Christian. He plants guilt in your mind and tells you that you are not worthy of being God’s child, much less of preaching the Gospel.
This is just the first step that every young Christian will face. But the truth is, pornography is just the beginning of the road of destruction that the devil tries to lead Christian men down.
2 – Immoral Sex
The second step is to grow in sin. What is worse than masturbating? Immoral sex. The Bible says that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and when you have sex with someone, you become one with them. After years of preparing the ground through pornography, Satan’s main goal is to make young Christians lose their virginity and have sex with many women instead of waiting for a godly wife.
But why does Satan want us to have sex with other women instead of just our future wife?
Because he knows that even though pornography can make a Christian stop growing spiritually, there is no real relationship with the person on the screen. So, if one day the man decides to stop watching, even though he’ll still be tempted, Satan can’t do much. But if a man has sex with 20 women, that means there are 20 real people Satan can use to attack him. In that situation, it’s much harder to stop. The sin can come back through WhatsApp messages, pictures, or maybe even running into one of them at college, work, or even church.
Satan knows that the more real and personal the sin is, the harder it will be to escape it.
3 – Destruction Of Marriage
Satan hates marriage. First, because it’s a creation of God. Second, because it’s the way humans come into the world. And third, because through a man, a woman, and a child, a family is formed. The devil hates family. Whatever he can do to destroy it, he will do.
Through pornography, the idea of watching many women becomes rooted in a man’s brain. Even if this man marries as a virgin, he will still have trouble being faithful because of this demonic mindset. And if he didn’t marry a virgin, he will face even more problems because Satan can bring one of those women back into his life.
Last but not least, pornography can come back even stronger after marriage. Satan can use this to make the man watch a video, and then a woman similar to the one in the video appears in real life and starts flirting with him. Many men have fallen this way.
Conclusion
I believe that God’s warning for the next generation is clear: don’t make the same mistakes. And for my generation, those from the 2000s, we should be a reference. We must teach this new generation so they can go further than we did. It’s time to make a difference, brothers and sisters. Heaven is taken by force, don’t forget that!
