“The end of a matter is better than its beginning”
Ecclesiastes 7:8
For sure you know someone that once were great Christians, preaching the word of God and doing amazing things for the kingdom of God and suddenly leave God and today are not on the road of heaven anymore, or even pass away am i right?
Well bible verses that says “those who are faithful be careful to not fall” or ” the end is better than its beginning” aren’t there just for no reason! The most important thing on Christianity is that is all about consistency and not intensity.
Many people start their Christian life in an amazing way, but later on they give up their walk with Christ due their life circumstances, that can be a lay off on their job, or a cheating of someone, maybe a wife or a husband. People don’t prepare themselves for this situations, they put all their trust in humans instead of God, and when someone disappoint them they just decide to leave the only one who would never leave them alone!
Brothers and Sisters, today we will learn more about Christian maturity and how is important for a Christian to develop some kind of faith that will never be shaken, doesn’t matter how bad the circumstances are, we will prevail!
1 – It’s All About Resistance
“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”
1 Corinthians 9:24
In a Marathon, the one who have more resistance will be the winner, such as is our life as Christians there are many that start ten times faster than the others, but they give up in the half part of the marathon. Brothers and Sisters, to run in such a way that we can get the eternal life it is necessary to build our house on the rock, which is Christ and our focus has to be on consistency and not intensity.
I understood through my life experience that it is better praying 40 minutes every day, than praying 5 hours in a day and them stop praying for two weeks straight. The spiritual realm will fail against those who are consistent but will prevail against those who aren’t!
2 – We Will Reap A Harvest If We Do Not Give Up
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9
We got to understand that God has a harvest to those who choose to live for him. One day, all the hardships and moments of trouble would not even be remembered for us because of the Glory that the eternity will reveal to us, but the Bible is clear that we will for sure reap the harvest if we do not give up!
To give up it cannot be an option for a Christian, we have to fight until the end. Brothers and Sisters, the Devil and his Demons will do everything to make you giving up and Christ has promised that we would face adversities here on the Earth, but don’t forget that he said that he would be for us every single day.
Christ will give us all we need to achieve success in our mission as Christians here on earth, but we got to have faith in him and be consistent in our prayer, meditation on the word of God and fasting lives, we got to do our best, remember that the kingdom of heaven is take it by force!
3 – You Have One Chance To Win
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:7
We have one chance to do it right, one chance to win, one chance to fulfill God’s purposes in our lives, so there is no shortcut let’s do our best to inherit the kingdom of God.
Sometimes it won’t be easy, i mean Jesus himself told us it wouldn’t, the only way to keep focused enough to win it is through God’s word meditation, prayer and fasting, remember that our fight it is not against the flash but against Demons!
Conclusion
Let’s put the hole armor of God and no matter what happen in our lives, let’s do everything necessary to accomplish the mission that our father has given us. I hope that you and me can have the opportunity to repeat the same last phrase as the Apostle Paul: – ” I kept the faith”.
