Has ever cross through your mind for what reason a perfect being like God, the creator of the universe loved us? Well, the reason why God just did not decided to destroy us and just live with the Angels was that God really loved us!
Perhaps you are reading this and thinking: “ok, but why? I never asked him for loving me, i do not even know God, he is just a stranger to me, we as humans do not have the capacity to love a total stranger as someone from our family, so how God can love me? Does he ever knew me?”
Well, the answer for that is yes! God know us even before we were born as he says to the prophet jeremiah: ” Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee”. So, yes God know us before we are even born, but the reason why he loved us is beyond that!
In this article we will know more reasons on Why God decided to love us so much and why a perfect God choose to have fellowship with such a weak creature like us.
1 – God is A Father
8 “But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
Before we are born here God create us in the spiritual world, that is the reason why you win the “sperm marathon” in the womb of your mother.
So as a father, God love every single human on this earth.
Imagine someone comes to a father of a son that does not care about him the father and decide to forsake his father and never gives him a call or never says that love him and asks if he still love his son, i can tell you for sure he will say that his love for his son remains intact, even though the son rejects him!
It is the same with God, as a father it is impossible for him not love his own creation, so as you cannot tell a father to not love their sons you cannot tell God to not love his creation, because that is not possible!
The bible show us that the love of God for us was so big that he send us Jesus to die for us, and even more, Jesus died for us when we were still living in sin!
when you understand that God love us as his on childrens, all questions like: “Why God just does not kill everyone and live with the angels” is vanished. Well, if you ask a father to kill his kids because you will give them another ones, more beautiful i bet you they would not accepted am i right?
2 – God Want Us As His Friends
“15 No longer do I call you servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I heard from my Father I have made known unto you.”
John 15:15
It is crazy to think that such a powerful being like God want us as friends, but according to the bible it is true! See, God want us as his friends! The reason why he still continue to give us opportunities even when we fall is because he love us and his will is that we continue to grow in this fellowship.
Lord Jesus could destroy us but he decide to die for us so that we can now have full acess to God, Hallelujah!
Conclusion
The love of God for us is a love of a Dad, but also we learn today that he want us as his friends.
See, when you get at home after a day of work or school, God is always waiting open arms for your decision of having a moment of fellowship with him.
When we think about how much effort we put in earthly thinks, such as our jobs or studies and how much less we put in a moment of fellowship with the heavenly father,intantly we feel sad about ourselves.
But this moment right now as long as you read this article can be a moment of changing in our minds.
By me first, we should do better for God,i invite you to put more effort in your relationship with the heavenly father, do better to increase your fellowship with him, because our lord Jesus died so that today we can have this, so it is time to be grateful and enjoy this amazing opportunity to be a friend of the creator of all things!
