“6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

That Jesus is the only way to eternal life we all heard of it, this bible verse is for sure one of the most famous;
But have you ever though with yourself about why? What does the scriptures says about that? Why is Jesus so special?
Today we will show you some explanations on why is Jesus the only way to receive eternal life and to escape from eternal death, that is Hell.
1 – Jesus Has Never Sinned
” 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
2 Corinthians 5:21
God is Holy and perfect, and the only way to escape from his wrath is if we become a hundred percent holy, one sin and we would go to hell.
That is why God send his only son Jesus for us so that he could accomplish the perfect sacrifice, dying on the cross with no sin.
Doing so he paid our debt, now when we accept Jesus as our savior, the blood of Christ purify us from all our sins and we became holy!
So when the lord Almighty God look to us, he see Jesus, because of that we now receive the gift of eternal life, Amen!
2 – Jesus Died For Us
“16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”
John 3:16-18
“20 He said, “This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep.” 21 In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies. 22In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.”
Hebrews 9:20-22
According to the Bible, the only way to have remission of sin is by death, we all should die but Jesus decided to die for us.
Why he did that? Because Jesus love every single human, God does not hate people as some may think, it is the opposite!
He love us so much, that he does everything that is possible to save everyone, people go to hell because they choose to reject God!
If Jesus is the only way to receive salvation, those who reject him are condemned already, why? Because we are sinners!
the apostle john according to 1 john 1:9says that those who says that does not sin is a liar, he said that because if you are a human, you was born with sin already, as an Adam descendent. So unless you are under the blood of Christ you cannot be saved!
3 – Jesus Rose From The Dead
“5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee.”
Matthew 28:5-7
“3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.”
1 Peter 1:3-4
Jesus have died but he rose from the dead also, and this brothers and sisters is a reason to give thanks a praise the Lord!
Because Jesus died and rose, now he destroyed Death and is our intercessor, that is the one who are before God for us.
Even though we are sinners, Jesus decided to give us the gift of salvation, we will live with him forever, what an awesome God we have!
Conclusion
“17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.”
Revelation 22:17
