Have you ever thought why God just does not save everybody? Imagine if everybody would be saved even though committed terrible crimes and having no repentance, that would be unjust right?
But then i can imagine you saying: “But Rafa, what if everybody that lives a normal life, that is: people who does not commit any crimes or bad stuff on this earth went to heaven, even though this person does not believe or love God.
If God is perfect why does he just do not save them all and show to them on eternity that he is good?
In this article we will discuss some topics that contribute for this people fall, unfortunately even though God decided to save them, they decide to condemn themselves to Hell.
1 – Lack Of Repentance
“8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:8-9
God is Love! And his dream is that everybody repent and go to Heaven brothers and sisters.
It is impossible to be Saved without repentance of sins because God is holy, repentance it is necessary.
The problem is that not everyone want to repent of their sins and live a Godly life.
Many are those who reject the calling of God for repentance, so because of that they all will perish.
What people do not understand is that does not matter how good someone can be, if this person does not accept the lord Jesus as their only savior, it is impossible to receive salvation, salvation is on the blood of Christ!
The truth is that many are those that do not want to follow the word of God. Because with God they cannot have a life of sexual immoralities, they have to live their lives for God and for his purpose and etc…
They think their careers, their parties, the sex, the money it is better that God, that is the truth!
“4 The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’ 5 And whether they listen or fail to listen—for they are a rebellious people—they will know that a prophet has been among them.”
Ezekiel 2:4-5
Remember my school days, people there did not listen to me when i preach the Gospel to them, but i do remember that in those days i open my bible and what i read was Ezekiel 2, that day i understood what it means to be a Christian!
Our jobs is just preach the gospel, what we cannot do it is just be quiet, do not be quiet about that.
You have the medicine for this world so brothers and sisters let us all preach, if they listen or not it not in our control, but preaching the gospel is!
2 – Jesus Is The Only Way
“6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:06
When someone choose to accept Christ as their savior Jesus become our bridge to God! Without Jesus, does not matter how hard we try to be holy, it is not possible.
That is the problem of this people, they do not want to repent and accept Christ as savior and even though because they are “Good people”, they think they deserve to be saved.
God will not look to us and think like: “hmm, ok, this are good people, so they will go to heaven”, no!
He will look to us and see if we lived according to his laws!
If you try to live your life according to the laws of God, considering that the only way to go to heaven it is sinning zero times you will get that it is impossible to be saved!
This is the amazing thing about the gospel, God decided to send Jesus so he, God in form of a man who commit no sin could be the bridge, so now through him we get salvation, God love us that much!
3 – People Choose To Go To Hell
“26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.”
Hebrews 10:26-27
According to the Bible, God, the creator choose to pay our debt and he love us so intensely that even send his son to come down on the earth, be nailed to a cross and crucified so that through him we could get salvation and live with him eternally, but those who reject the only one that can save them, those will perish!
It is very sad that even God showing to this people how amazing he is through all creation, sending his only son to save them, even with all of that, they choose to reject him. It is a sad reality but because of that,
many will be on eternal pain in hell, but not because God it is evil, but because they choose that!
Conclusion:
Brothers and Sisters, God loves everyone, but that does not mean that he will save those who does not accept Christ as savior, repentance it is necessary to remission of sins!
